Residence Program

The Provincial Schools residential program is an extension of the school program for students who do not live close enough to access daily transportation. Residence is available to students who live significant distances from schools in Belleville, Milton, London, Brantford, and Ottawa.

Residence programs run from Monday – Friday during the school year. There is no additional cost to families.

Academic and residential programs support each other in the provision of a comprehensive curriculum. School principals and residence managers work together toward a successful experience for all students. Learning continues after the daily academic program in programs that promote:

  • Language & communication
  • Life skills
  • Social skills
  • Independence

Residential staff are invested in facilitating every student’s growth and independence. A wide range of programs and services is available to ensure a fluid transition from school to home.

  • Transportation to the student’s home is provided for weekends and holidays.
  • All meals are provided in residence. Students with dietary restrictions for health or religious reasons will be accommodated.
  • Student Health Services employs full-time nursing staff on site.
